Since 1998, Michele Rella has utilized her many talents for philanthropic endeavors as a Board Member of Gabrielle's Angel Foundation. She was inspired to help others when her friend, songwriter Denise Rich’s daughter Gabrielle Rich Aouad died of AML Leukemia at the tender age of 27. Gabrielle’s dying wish was to create a foundation to help spare others the suffering she endured. Along with G&P Co-Founders Ms. Rich and Gabrielle’s husband, Philip Aouad, Ms. Rella helped to Co-Create Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research. Their first gala fundraiser in 1998, a star-studded evening of music and comedy and the gala fundraising event of the year, raised over $2.7 million dollars. Over the years, the Foundation has raised over $6 million dollars for cancer research.

Prior to her philanthropic work, Ms. Rella was the President of Prime Hotels and Resorts, headquarters for the exclusive St. James’s Clubs in Paris, London, Los Angeles and Antigua. During her eight-year tenure, she was also the Club’s spokesperson. She organized and hosted celebrity events, weddings, and yacht shows, many of which were featured on the television program “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” with Robin Leach. Ms. Rella also produced successful advertising campaigns and television commercials. Ms. Rella is married to businessman and fellow G&P Board Member, Frank Rella.
